When you are ready to wind on your spun yarn, be sure to do it under tension so it doesn't get snarled.
Keep a steady pressure, holding your arms apart and keeping tension on the spun yarn as you rotate your spindle to wind the yarn on.
When you have 6-10" left as a leader, you're ready to hook on, and spin again!
