Tahkli Spinning
Point of Twist / Continual Drafting

This page sponsored by:

Spin spindle, and as it's twirling draft the fibers very quickly, holding the source loosely. The spin on the spindle will run out faster using this drafting technique, as it pulls on the spindle slightly, creating resistance. So keep spinning the spindle frequently, while at the same time drawing out the fiber in a continuous motion. Once you've reached the full length of your yarn, you'll have to insert some additional twist, with a few more spins, to help it hold together when winding on.
